Fishing the Dearborn & Missouri Rivers and Holter Reservoir
For the majority of its length, the Dearborn River courses through privately owned ranches & property, so public access is very limited.
Two Feathers Lodge provides guests access to the Dearborn River.
WADE FISH -
along the cabin's ~¾ miles of Dearborn River frontage & then within the high water mark for miles.
FLOAT FISH (when river flow permits) -
local outfitters can guide and/or rent equipment.
Float to cabin: put in ~19 miles upstream on the Dearborn & float down to the cabin.
Float from cabin: Put in at cabin & float ~2 miles downstream to the Missouri River Canyon & beyond.

The Dearborn River opens for rainbow, brown & brook trout fishing on the 3rd Saturday in May and closes November 30th.
Check with Craig, MT fly shops for details about Spring and Fall Fish runs as well as best times to float the Dearborn.
FOR YEAR ROUND FISHING -- The Missouri River, Holter Lake and Canyon Ferry Reservoir provide great year round & ice fishing.
